Writer,
author,
storytellerโฆ
I write the stories.
You bring the snacks.
Hey, Iโm Kimber: Writer, author, mother, community leader, and activist.
If you love adventures with curious kids unlocking secrets, magic that doesnโt play by the rules, or romance that makes you swoon a little (okay, a lot), youโre in the right place.
My books are for the dreamers, the adventurers, the hopeless romantics, and anyone whoโs ever gotten lost in a good story and didnโt want to come back.
(You know who you are.)
So grab a cozy spot, dive in, and letโs get lost togetherโno map required.
Oh, and if youโre here for my latest book, Autumn Andersen and the Quest for Keys, youโre going to love it. Itโs packed with mystery, magic, and just enough โWhat happens next?!โ to keep you turning pages way past bedtime.
Go ahead, explore. Iโll be over here, typing away, drinking coffee, and dreaming up the next big adventure.
Meet my debut book:

Tech and I =
NOT Besties ๐ฏ
I wrote my entire first book using my imagination and...wait for it...the Notes app on my phone. Yep, it wasnโt fancy, but it worked!
I am the mascot.
No, really. ๐ฐ
If youโve ever seen a giant bunny or a festive elf at a community event in my cityโsurprise! That was me. I take dressing up very seriously (and the kids love it).
Milestones
๐ค Tattoos
Some people celebrate big wins with cake. I get inked. Every tattoo tells a story, and I think thatโs pretty fitting for a writer.
Nature is my happy place. ๐
Whether Iโm gardening, hiking, or talking to animals like Iโm Snow White, the outdoors is where I recharge and dream up new stories.
My teens keep me cool(ish) ๐
My daughters are my biggest cheerleaders and my personal โmom-youโre-embarrassing-meโ monitors. They help me stay young at heartโeven if they roll their eyes when I try to use teenage slang.
Have suitcase,
will travel. ๐งณ
Give me a suitcase, a ticket, and some snacks, and Iโm off. I live for making memories in new places (and probably adding them to my next story).
I believe in
magic. ๐ช
Not the wand-waving kind (though thatโd be cool), but the magic of stories that make you feel somethingโwonder, joy, love, or just the thrill of turning the next page.
I am the slayer
of stains. ๐
Need a stain removed? Iโm your girl. After 24 years in the dry cleaning business, Iโve seen it allโwine, ink, mystery goo (donโt ask). So if your favorite shirt has been through a โsituation,โ Iโm basically a laundry wizard.
