About Me
So you wanna know more “about” me? Well…
Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not your run-of-the-mill author.
I’m a mom to two teenage daughters who keep me on my toes, humble me daily, and ensure I never take myself too seriously. (They also remind me that "cool" is a moving target, and I’m usually missing it. 🙄)
When I’m not wrangling life’s chaos, you’ll find me outside, fully embracing my love affair with nature. Hiking, gardening, bonding with animals—I basically thrive anywhere there’s fresh air and a high likelihood of dirt under my nails. I’m also a sucker for art, music, and travelling to places that make me say, “Wow, I need to write about this!”
By day (and sometimes night), I juggle a few hats. I’ve spent over two decades as an entrepreneur in the textile industry—fancy title included since I’m the Vice President of a national association in my field. I’ve also worked as a Developmental Service Worker for just as long because helping people has always been my thing.
But at my core? I’m a dreamer, a storyteller, and a firm believer that magic exists in the pages of a good book. My debut novel, Autumn Andersen and the Quest for Keys is exactly the kind of adventure I would’ve devoured as a kid—full of mystery, courage, and just the right amount of magic.
So, welcome to my world! Whether you’re here for a great story, a little inspiration, or just like hanging out with people who embrace their uniqueness—I’m glad you stopped by.

Inspiration.
My daughters are my greatest source of joy and imagination. Their vibrant energy helps me stay connected to my inner child, reminding my to view the world with curiosity and wonder.
Beyond the page.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me exploring nature trails, tending my garden, playing with animals, or dreaming up my next adventure while travelling. Music, art, and the great outdoors are my creative fuel.
Expanded impact.
I’m not just a storyteller—I’m also a leader and advocate. With 24 years of experience as a Developmental Service Worker, I’m also a successful entrepreneur in the textile industry, working hard to make a difference in my community.
